Awesome info!! But PLEASE label these tips for men AND WOMEN! I am a 78 yr. Old female, and I am competent in all these skills, only know one male who is. lol
tourniquets are actually a last resort procedure to be used only if loss of life will likely occur without one. You should always try a double compression bandage first. try a compression bandage and give this a chance to allow the blood to clot. If it doesnt work then apply a second compression bandage directly over the first. Only after they both fail should you consider a tourniquet, and when doing so, it should be placed as close to the wound as possible on the heart side of the wound.
Wow! The feminists just can’t stand the fact that you were addressing MEN to help them develop useful skills for bad situations. They are probably right though, men should probably stick to pretending to be women and defeating women in practically every women’s sport that exists, lol!
Every man?? How about every person or every adult. As we all know redundancy is key in survival, but it’s not just about having matches and a lighter and a ferro rod. It’s about multiple people sharing the same skills so that if one person it’s not there, the group isn’t crippled by the loss. This is not 1955, and we all need these skills. Frankly IMO they should be taught in schools.
