Fun fact! DLSS is just software and can work on any gpu despite Nvidia only making certain versions functional on specific GPU’s.
I think future games will just run on PS1 type graphics internally and with DLSS creating the final “look” of the game. I wish devs will have full control of how they want the game environments and models to appear.
I would really appreciate if you guys could clarify that the DLSS 5 tech we’ve been shown is an additional optional feature (like frame gen) and NOT a replacement for DLSS upscaling.

This could be an optional setting not a forced “feature” if you’re using dlss. I think we don’t know how many players use dlss to give this one game a better frame rate. Great example is playing something like gta v enchanced with ray tracing with a 5060 so you need that dlss and this dlss 5 will be a disaster. If I was nvidia I would just scrap dlss 5 and say sorry.
