My camping starter pack ⛺️ #AD

My setup was built from 10+ years of trial, error, and exploring the Southwest with help from my go-to outdoor store, @rei

If I had to start from scratch with car camping gear, these are the ten things I’d buy first:

1. A @rei Co-op tent
2. Sleeping bag
3. A comfy sleeping pad (we love the Exped MegaMat Duo)
4. A reliable camp stove
5. Fuel (!!) for the stove
6. Utensils to cook with (or borrow from your kitchen)
7. A hard-sided cooler
8. A water jug
9. A camp chair
10. A trash bag (from home haha)

Because I’ve never been known to pack light, here are my ’unnecessary necessities’:

☁️ My pillow from home
✨ String lights
🔋 Portable generator
