I’ve never heard of someone doing this but every time I go to a music festival in the summer all I bring for sleep is an underwater skateboard, linen fabric as a blanket, and put my feet into my backpack.
Idk maybe I’m to country boy but when I go hiking and camp I pile up leaves and lay a plastic sheet over them to set up my tarp tent then spread my military wool blanket out covering the floor to lay out my military mss system. I’ve always stayed warm and a lot of times I have to open up my bag to keep from sweating.
